Why I did this.
I discovered that I was frequently customizing my email signature according to the recipient and situation. Marketing messages to some people, technical to others, personal to friends, music-related to my big band buddies etc…Adding links, dropping links, changing text – it became too much.
My first love is music, but my day job is software security consulting, helping businesses protect their data and comply with privacy regulation – and I’m always looking for interesting projects.
I am an independent consultant working with C-level executives at large and small technology and medical device companies applying threat analysis to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities.
With over 30 years of experience, my objective is to teach organizations how to implement the best and most cost-effective measures that reduce their Value at Risk and protect their customers. In other words – I will teach you how to fish, not sell you fish and outsourcing services. That way – you save on the long term and I get more time to play my saxophone and ride my bike.
I have research interests in understanding the relationship between software vulnerabilities, data security, risk and compliance standards and regulations. I am expert in combining soft skills such as collaboration with hard-core technology such as network interception, in order to help clients reduce their value at risk by creating a common language across functional organizational boundaries and recycle threat intelligence.
If this intrigues you – contact me. I’m always looking for interesting projects.
