Born in Washington DC, lives in Israel. Married to Ofra, who runs the rare book collection at the Israel National Library, they have 4 children and 7 grand-children.

Danny’s data security business, Software Associates provides enterprise information protection to clients in Europe and the Middle East. Latest venture is MedRep, a professional network for medical representatives and doctors.

Collective moshav Elazar EDP (first VAX/VMS commercial software house in Israel – developed financial systems used by Intel, National Semiconductor and Amdocs), Intel Israel site telecom manager (first private global video conferencing network). Bynet Software Systems (first pure-play software distributor in Israel, launched Microsoft Windows NT), Commerce.Net Israel (first Israeli secure payment provider using Open Market Transact).
His personal favorite is The JP Big Band, a 19 piece jazz ensemble, where he plays tenor and is the contractor. After hours he bikes road and off-road depending on season, shape and friends.
